The Seward Township Board of Trustees will be holding a Special Meeting on TUESDAY, November 18, 2025 at 7:00pm at the Township building at 14719 O’Brien Road, Minooka, Illinois 60447.  The purpose of this meeting is to have a discussion and receive background information and suggestions for engaging in Kendall County planning and zoning processes.

Historic Structure Survey

The County received a Certified Local Government Grant to conduct an historic structure survey of Na-Au-Say and Seward Townships. 

Matt Asselmeier will be presenting information on the project at the August 12th township board meeting and asking for volunteers to assist with the survey by visiting older homes and interviewing the owners for historical background.  

Visionkendall.org is a website for those interested in contributing to kendall county’s  comprehensive plan. The object is to create a plan for future growth and development  in the county. There is a short survey to fill out. Hard copies of that survey will also be available at the August township meeting.
