The Illinois Research Institute is conducting a geological survey along the roadways of Seward Township, these roads consist of O’Brien, Brisbin, and Mckanna. The little sensors you see are called nodes and they will be using a big truck to measure vibration in the ground. (basically a ultrasound for underground water.) This process should take about a week. (5/15/24) For questions or concerns please feel free to contact Scott Cryder at 815-267-1011 or Mitchell Barklage from Prairie Research Institute at 636-248-0665.
